What is related,
and how.
Undercurrent brings separately published U.S. government records — bills, votes, members, committees, lobbying and campaign finance, financial disclosures, oversight and budget reports — into one normalized store. It resolves them to shared canonical entities, then draws the cross-source relationships no single source exposes.
The integration is the signal: a connected graph of legislative activity, influence and money, assembled from the official government record only.

02Register
Many sources.
One public record.
Every record comes from the U.S. government body that publishes it. Open a family to read what it holds and to visit its publishers directly.

03 Lobbying Filings, registrants and disclosed activity
Review federal lobbying disclosures and the legislation referenced in those filings.
04 Campaign finance Candidates, committees and reported finance

05 Disclosures & oversight Financial disclosures, hearings and research

03Approach
Context you can
trace back.
A connection gives you a place to look. The original record gives you something to examine. Records are joined on the identifiers their publishers assign — bill numbers, member ids, package ids — never on a guess at a name, and each connection keeps its basis in view.
- 01 Connection two records that share an identifier, linked
- 02 Basis the identifier and the sources it joins, kept in view
- 03 Related material connected records that add context across sources
- 04 Original record the official publication, as its source issued it
